Rebecca K. Andruszka is an activist and non-profit professional who has spent the past 10 years focused on community solutions to poverty. She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, doing everything from research and communications, to fundraising and project development. Rebecca moved to Denver in 2014 to take over development and communications for Denver Urban Gardens. She is currently the Policy Chair at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains’ young professionals group, Sex, Politics, and Cocktails, and was just accepted into their Young Philanthropists Program. Her work has been published at The Muse, ProfessionGal, and Bitch.

Rebecca received her BA from New School for Social Research and her MA from Hunter College. Her academic work focused on the intersection between art/culture and progressive politics from early modern England to post-war U.S.
